Inspired by Don McLean's "Vincent", this 5 inch by 7 inch original acrylic painting on canvas features a bouquet of stylized semi abstract flowers arranged in a teal vase against a pink background.
It is no secret that Van Gogh loved flowers. It is also clear that his mastery of color sets him apart from other artists. I frequently find myself wondering what he would have thought of the vivid array of modern pigments available to us today. And so, since he is a personal favorite of mine, I painted this bouquet as a tribute to his legacy.
This piece is painted on a back stapled canvas approximately ½ inch thick.
It is signed with the artist's initials and year of creation on the front and the title and artist's full signature on the back
The painting continues around all 4 edges of the canvas so it can be hung as is, or you can have it framed to your liking.
Although the painting will ship unframed, it will arrive with hanging hardware installed for your convenience.
The back is left open and unsealed to allow air flow.

The painting is sealed with 2 coats of acrylic varnish to protect from dust, dirt, and UV rays, however it is still best kept out of direct sunlight and in a smoke free environment.
Do not expose to extreme temperatures or high humidity.
Do not clean with abrasives, solvents, soaps, harsh chemicals or detergents.
If the painting must be cleaned, wipe the surface and edges with plain water on a soft, non abrasive cloth only.
Do not soak or immerse in water.
Keep away from heat and open flame.
